Tabuk RT-PCR laboratory awaits license to operate

TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Once operational with the Department of Health (DOH) approval of its license to operate, the establishment of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) Laboratory in this city would be significant in reducing the waiting time of swab results.


TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Department of Health-Kalinga (DOH-Kalinga) chief Dr. Bernadette Andaya said that local government units (LGUs) may now conduct random swab testing of frontliners and certain asymptomatic at-risk groups, as testing capacity in the Cordillera region has again increased.

An Order Placing Tabuk City Under General Community Quarantine and Setting Guidelines Thereto

Executive Order No. 09, series of 2021 – WHEREAS, the CIATF requested that the City be placed under Enhanced Community Quarantine from January 25 to February 7. 2021 and was further extended until February 14, 2021, in order to conduct/contact tracing for close contac1s the community transmission of Covid-19 in the City. The said request was granted and was concurred by the Regional Inter-Agency Task Force;
