4 cadets from Kalinga land on top 10 of PMMA’s ‘’Masakbayan’’ Class of 2020
15 Kalinga natives are among the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy’s (PMMA) 224-strong “Masakbayan’’ Class of 2020 graduating on June 12.
Of the 15 Kalinga cadets, four landed on Top 10. They are Javan Ludan of Bawac Dupligan, Tanudan (top 3), Glenn Paul Lupnacan (top 5), Xadelene Guisob (top 8 ), and V Sano ( top 9) – all from Tabuk City.

14 people in Tabuk face charges for ECQ violations
TABUK CITY, Kalinga – A total of fourteen people are facing charges for violations of Article 151 of the Revised Penal Code or resistance and disobedience to a person in authority and Republic Act (RA) 11332 or the “Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act” during the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) imposed here from March 17 to April 30, 2020.
