An Order Extending the Enhanced Community Quarantine in the City of Tabuk for Seven (7) Days and Setting Guidelines Thereof

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 15. Article II of the 1987 Philippine Constitution and Section 16 of the General Welfare Clause of the 1997 Local Government Code, local government units ore charged with the promotion of safety within their jurisdiction;

WHEREAS, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. through Proclamation No. 922 s. 2020 as well as Proclamation No. 929 series of 2020, declared the Philippines under State of Public Health Emergency, which was further extended by Presidential Proclamation 1021 series of 2020;

WHEREAS, due to the alarming increase in the number of confirmed cases and due to the current surge of asymptomatic and mild cases in the city as reported by the City Health Officer. the Tabuk City Inter-Agency Task Force against COVID-19, during their meeting held on February 2. 2021 recommended the extension of the Enhanced community Quarantine (ECQ) in the City of Tabuk for seven (7) days;

WHEREAS, supervening events have prompted the need to make necessary adjustments in order to be more responsive to present circumstances;

WHEREAS, Executive Order no. 7 was issued for the imposition of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in Tabuk City for a period of fourteen ( 1-4) days starting 12:01 AM of January 25, 2021, until midnight of February 7, 2021, which had been approved by Governor Ferdinand B. Tubban and later concurred by the Cordillera Regional Inter-Agency Task Force on January 22. 2021.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ENGR. DARWIN C. ESTRAÑERO, City Mayor of Tabuk City, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution and the lows, do hereby order the following;
