Executive Order No. 9 series of 2020

An order of Mandatory Travel Ban for All City Government Employees of Tabuk in NCoV Affected Countries

WHEREAS, pursuant to the mandate of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to intensify information education and implement programs against the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV);

WHEREAS, the novel coronavirus (2019- nCoV) was first detected in Wuhan, China and continues to expand globally;

WHEREAS, the Department of Health (DOH) recently announced the existence of three confirmed nCoV cases with one mortality in our country;

WHEREAS, the City of Tabuk recognizes its role to protect and promote the health and safety of its constituents.

THEREFORE, premised on the foregoing and in pursuance to the authority vested by in me by law I, DARWIN C. ESTRANERO, City Mayor of Tabuk, do hereby through this order, subject all city government employees of Tabuk to a mandatory travel ban to the listed nCoV-affected countries or where an incident relating thereto has been confirmed.

FURTHER, in case where city employees have already traveled to the nCoV affected countries prior the effectivity of this order, they shall notify the undersigned and in coordination with the city health office, be subjected to a mandatory confinement/ quarantine.

This order shall take effect immediately.
